has rigid connector to ductwork; new
unit has flexible sound reducing connector.
Old unit chimney unsealed and not suspended.
New unit well sealed and hung properly.
The old humidifier not accessible; new
unit up front and easy to service
Old unit: No pad, pump safety not wired, no
shut off switch. New unit with pad, switch
and pump wired to shut unit down if the
pump fails.
